    Very Mediocre

I’m probably in the minority, but this movie did nothing for me. The character acting is weak and there was nothing there to draw me in. Although there was nothing actually wrong with the battle scenes, (and believe me, there are plenty of battle scenes) there was nothing new that we haven’t seen before; ie: Braveheart, Troy, Gladiator, etc. The music was fair but nothing compared to the score of the aforementioned three. Also, how many times must a soldier in battle get stabbed with a blade before he actually dies? Bottom line: Save your money and look elsewhere.

  • King Arthur 04 (TheDirector's Cut) A Page Of His Dues

Directors commentary holds keys to "The Story" and the "Origin of the Legend" MY First wonder, what will we see, King Arthur as #1a Missionary or #2- Mercenary?= a1.2 Arthur shares his nobility with unique constituencies in compassion to the proletariat; seemingly a special person on a mission from Rome. I found that Arthur's troubles maybe complex but he makes his decisions as we ride along. He worships alone yet if we want we can follow, to paint a scene from my memory (maybe not from the script) where a knight follows to question both his discern and to ask why Arthur always has to go pray or something, instead of directly discussing things with him, or with any of the other Russian knights. I think ths Arthurs best line is to the peasants and their guards as Arthur steps up his ...

  • That's what it was all about

Fairly good depiction of the era when a "King Arthur" could have lived. Some scholars believe Ambrosius Aurelianus, the son of Vortigern and “the Last of the Romans,” and Arthur were one and the same. Even this is a time-line stretch. If the film ending battle was the Battle of Mons (or the Battle of Badon) which is buried in myth and legend then the there is a time problem. Nevertheless, a fun and entertaining film

  • Loved It

I really liked the Directors Cut of King Arthur because the extra footage fills in some gaps that weren’t explained in the original release. Clive Owen rules as the Roman Legiion commander Arthur and Keira Knightley is great as the pagan love interest, Guinevere. All in all, it’s a bloody great romp through medieval legend.
