I know I shouldn't, but I LOVE this movie. Between the feel good music and the cute story - how can anyone not love it? The nuns are endearing, the music is contagious (even if you are feeling bad, after this you will be smiling in spite of yourself). Even my little niece, after watching this, wanted my copy of the movie - which is why I am buying another... [:-)

Great fun, one of Whoopi's best movies
This is just good clean fun. Whoopi is trying to escape her mobster boyfriend after seeing his goons murder a man and is put into a convent for protection until the court hearing. From then on, it is fun and hard work for the "Sister" she becomes. Well worth watching again and again.

Whoopi Goldberg is great in the movie. My kids and I really enjoy the music. There are a couple of scenes that aren't exactly appropriate for small children.
