Life Challenges Addressed
Review for Book 1. I have read this book several times and just recently purchased it for a friend. This book talks about my personal journey and gives much insight to my own life as well as the bigger picture of things. Bks 2 & 3 deal with much larger issues of global and universal importance, but Book 1 is extremely applicable to my everyday life. There are some new concepts there that may be a little challenging for some, but my advice would be to stick with it, there is much to apply to daily life. It is written well in a conversational style with some humor thrown in. I like to think of this and other books like it as a take what you need book, and then leave the rest behind. Truly Inspiring
I absolutely love this book because for me it allowed me to get in touch with my spirituality the way I knew it should be. I struggled with the different rules and regulations that organized religion required. I especially struggled with the guilt and shame instilled by the religion I was brought up on. A revengeful God, a God to be feared. Conversations with God is enlightening and freeing. If your looking for a true loving relationship with yourself and God you need to read this book. Sometimes some of the conversations seem a little far fetched but if you keep reading you'll see the clarity and the point it's making. This book has become my new way of thinking and living. I have read this book many times and love it. I bought this copy to pass along to a friend. Years ago, while embedded in traditional religion, I would have thought it wrong to even read such a book. I now realize God is unlimited and does not put limitations on us. GOD IS NOT STUPID! Once I allowed myself to receive the gift of an open mind, I realized it was only fear that kept my thinking in a rut. This book was interesting because it mirrored my own experience and is a natural progression for those truly desiring to know. For many, this direction is like standing on the edge of a cliff, knowing once you step off, there's no going back.
