    You have to Love this author! Susan E Phillips

    Take two flawed characters - Dr. Isabel Favor -- who thinks she knows the answer to peace and tranquility and Lorenzo Gage, an evil action actor who loves them and leaves them in real life. Take one prim uptight woman and a really loose man and you have a great combination of characters. I always look for Susan Elizabeth Phillips writings because she has such a great sense of humor in her novels - sexy, funny and really human. She does not hide the flaws in her characters. Thoroughly enjoyed this novel and will continue to look for more of her work.

    Chick Lit With a Brain

    Susan Elizabeth Phillips is simply the best in the genre. The characters she created for Breathing Room are likeable and interesting, and they discover their flaws and learn to grow beyond them. And all of this happens in the beautiful surroundings of Tuscany during the evolution of a romance between a despicable action movie villain and an uptight self improvement guru. The dialogue is enjoyable, the plot is interesting and the action keeps moving. The book is funny, tender, sexy without being smutty, and I like that her characters often have a strong spiritual core that shines through. I highly recommend this book. I have liked everything else I have read by this author and I can't imagine I would ever be disappointed when picking up one of her novels.
