Wow! What a beautiful vantage axe! Maybe better than pictures or description . You can tall this isn’t the seller’s first time shipping an axe! I appreciated the extra care the seller took, from the guard placed over the nicely sharpened blade to the clear plastic bag with Desiccant pack the axe was wrapped in! Maybe the finest packaging job I’ve seen in 20 years on EBay and working for FedEx! I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Oh yeah, shipping was extremely fast! A+

Thank you for your glowing review, much appreciated! I think of these old tools as man jewels, and try to restore and repair them accordingly. The final finish on your axe is of Reniassance wax, and it will dull with handlng. A good quality high carnuba base paste wax or micro-crystalline wax will restore the luster, and add to the patina over time. It is a fine axe, glad you got it. Best, Thad

All the items were as pictured, and arrived safely despite the USPS's best efforts to totally obliterate the shipping box. Thankfully the seller wrapped all the items together in a ball of cling wrap.which kept the contents intact otherwise they would have been scattered through post office faciiities all along their route.Thanks for taking the time to secure these items.
