This item didn’t come in exactly as pictured, but the seller responded immediately and was very gracious in offering me a partial refund even bough I wasn’t expecting one for what I paid for the item. I have bought from this seller before, and they are reputable and stand behind the products they sell. My other transactions with them have been perfect. Great communication. Packaging and price were good. Fairly fast shipping, too. Thanks.

  • Good, maybe too good.

Pros: Excellent writing, brings out the vagabond in everyone. Cons: The good makes the lack of morals pictured seem less imoral. Historically, Kerouac's classic is a must-read. It shows the existential/hedonistic roots of the Beat movement while also picturing the Taoistic tendencies of people like Jack Kerouac, Neal Cassady, and Allen Ginsberg. On the Road isn't just the story of freedom from the established norms, it's an excellent way to see why people would say drug use is important, that free love matters. The writing style is definitely the most ...

  • A tender adventure folk tale

  • freedom and Beat generation

Jack Kerouac make us travel all across America at a lightning speed of the Beat generation. The main caracter and his road friends take us on mad trips and stories. Jack Kerouac didn't go out of his house when he wrote this book which he wrote on a 1 shot non stop, using a special paper to hold the full book in it.

  • Greatest book of it’s time/genre

    Must read for everyone
