Sanyo ECJ-F50S 5-Cup Rice Cooker
I have never been able to cook rice well. It always boils over, or burns or something. I even ruined Minute Rice as a teen! (forgot to put the cover on). This rice cooker makes it soooo easy. I haven't used the steamer or anything but plain white rice, but it is perfect every time. I worried it might be icky to clean up, some reviews complained about how hard rice cookers were to clean, but this one is a breeze! Pot comes out, inner lid pops out to wash in the sink, (and they are not sticky or icky either) and you wipe up the inside and outside of moisture and Voila! It is all clean. The retractable cord feature is super cool, and it is lightweight enough to move around from counter to cupboard with ease. Sanyo Rice Cooker
So far, I have only raves about my rice cooker. It makes perfect rice every time. The button control press was a bit confusing but works just fine with my new intelligence! I look forward to getting creative with new recipes. Cleaning the under lid side after cooking is minimal but should be done after each use as it could get dry and hard to wipe off.

Simply the best rice/egg cooker!
My husband loves hard boiled eggs but hates peeling them. Now that we have this cooker the shells just fall off. He is thrilled!!! I cook alot of brown rice and this cooker works great for that. Other rice cooker I have had do not cook brown rice all the way thru. LOVE THIS COOKER! It is a must!!!
