    Brideshead Revisited

    The acting and character development is outstanding. There should be the level of all such drama, but, unfortunately, it is woefully below this presentation. The settings used for this story are incredibly beautiful. The Casting Director deserves kudos for the selection of the cast. The Director deserves an Emmy; I hope he got one. The adaptation of the storyline in the original book could not have been better, but who would have expected less from John Mortimore (sp?) Treat yourself to several pleasurable evenings by watching this drama.

    One of the best movies I have ever watched. (and I'm a movie person!)

    Dear pretzelcats, Brideshead Revisited... so good, so good, so good, so good. I must have watched it 8 times in a row. I have another version with Mathew Goode & Emma Thompson and although good it cant compare with this version. The acting in this version is so excellent it is spellbinding.     A well produced and acted series.

    This is one of the better British TV series. I watched it when it was first broadcast and its lost none of it charm and interest.
