I immediately made contact with ebay to ask for a correction or cancelation but was told the item had already been shipped. That is unlikely since all coresponcence with ebay, including their reply, was accomplished within a few hours. Simply a bait and switch operation, as far as price goes.

    Works, with some work

    I like this style because it doesn't interfere with main caps and 400 crankshaft/rods at all. BUT you will have some dipstick tube playing to do. And the old-style cork oil pan gasket works better than a one-piece with this, to account for the step it makes on the oil pan rail. Be very careful, and it won't leak. And yes, you will need an aftermarket pan or it won't clear. I used the road race pan and it did fit a '70 GTO chassis, barely.
