Purchased item for asking price and free shipping as per the listing . Seller backed out because they didn’t want to pay the shipping. Would have nice if they had first contacted me to see if we could reach some kind of compromise.

This condescending buyer gave me no chance to correct the issue. I was willing to work with him.

    Campbell Biology Textbook Eighth Edition

I bought this book it’s good some pages seem to be missing but from the table of contents, there is quite a lot of highlighting but the text is still legible, and in one section of the book I found dried rose petals - a little disturbing but ok, the book is fine good quality and I recommend it!!

  • A book that doubles as weights!

I bought the book, reviewed it a bit while I had it and then ended up dropping the class. So, take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm not a bio/science major either. I thought the book was terrific, lots of details, sufficient # of pictures and I loved the color and snippets that brought things to life throughout the textbook. The downside, OMG, that thing weighed about 8 lbs easily. Geez, talk about a strain on the back. It was too bulky and the binding seemed not as solid as it should have been for such a heavy book. Being an eternal optimist however, I gotta say that I was able to get my toning workout each time I had that book. While waiting, or in the elevator, all you have to do is 15 reps side to side, up and down; then over your head and back and forth.... :)

  • Good Book

Everything you need for Bio 101 is inside here! Heavy as heck but they didnt leave anything out! Great for my college class, but they could make the book a bit lighter, or at least divide it into two volumes!! Its like 10 lbs! Anyway, easy to read. Good stuff

  • Biology book review.

a very good reference book for college biology. You do not need to buy the current edition unless specified by the professor. A previous edition will
