    Fender Player Strat Floyd Rose HSS

    Overall very happy with the Player FR HSS. Have owned a similar MIM strat, the Sambora signature model. for some reason that one played and sounded a little better, It didn't have the routing for the FR tale in the body like this one but I set it to float anyway and it worked well. This one plays great too but it has a different feel. Maybe the neck... Think this is 9.5R all the way down where the Sambora felt flatter if I remember correctly/ Expect great Fender quality except it could use better tuners. with the locking nut , once your tuned and locked you won't use themFender again until its time for new strings, If you've ever set up a FR you'll know that there's a lot of tuning necessary to get the initial float/balance and that's when you notice if a tuner is not so precise.

    It's ok if you're on a budget but better guitars are available.

    The guitar I received has small stress cracks in the finish of the guitar body. They're below the Tremolo to the bottom of the guitar on front and back. Save your money and get something else. I've been very disappointed in the 3 Fender guitars I have purchased, all made in Mexico. I bought a PRS SIlver Sky and it's the nicest I have yet to see and play. Proper string height and no fret buzz.
