CD's are always a little tricky packing up and shipping out. I have learned a lot over the years and feel I have come up with a very reliable and cost-effective way of doing so. • The Earlier days of Ministry

Before Ministry was a major player in the industrial rock scene, they existed making Gothic Synth-Pop. This album clearly show that new wave was an important sound of the 1980's. If you listen to this, and then listen to albums like Psalm 69 or Filth Pig...or any of their other industrial rock albums you'll clearly see the difference. Furthermore, there are two other albums that are similar to this one and they are With Sympathy and Early Trax and that's because it is the same sound. The album Twitch could be considered close in my opinion. So if your a industrial rocker I wouldn't really recommend this album but if you like new wave or any other synth rock or a huge fan of ministry and want to see how they started out, then I'd purchase this album.

Love it! Everyday is Halloween... Pre hardcore Ministry.

  • Great for Ministry or 80's Fans!

This is worth it for "Everyday is Halloween" alone, but also has 3 other Ministry singles that were released on 12" vinyl and also has a remix of each. "All Day" is just a great dance tune and there's even something for the fans of Ministry who are more into the Psalm 69 sound (more industrial - less dance) in "The Nature of Love", while "Cold Life" sort of straddles the two. The remixes are different enough that you don't feel like "didn't I just hear this?", while still being true enough to the original song to be enjoyable.

  • Great CD

    Plays and sounds like new.

  • Everyday Is Halloween

Fans of Ministry who are not familiar with with the bands roots could be in for a real shock if the happen upon this little project. Just to think of it makes me laugh. Gothic synth pop with no grinding guitars or growling vocals. Some would consider this stuff very weak. But for us fans of 80's goth pop this is a real treasure. I like Ministry in all of their forms. 5 Stars.
