    Top Quality Home Speaker

    Awesome sound quality and build in this wifi speaker. Setup is super easy and voice control works great via Sonos voice or Google voice. The sound doesn't get distorted at high volume and even sounds great at very low volume. Touch controls on top of speaker are very responsive. More units can be added to build a multiple room system where each speaker can be individually controlled and can play different content simultaneously. This is a wifi speaker, not a Bluetooth speaker where you connect via Bluetooth and stream from your phone or computer. It does currently have limited Bluetooth connectivity for setup. This isn't a negative and you can stream all audio from your pc with the app SWYH. Windows Media Player can stream to Sonos via settings in Media Player. Airplay works for Mac. I ...

    Take it out of the box and it works: NOT

    Why do I fall for products that advertise easy installation? Take it out of the box, download the app, and it works. Although I’m not a technical genius I can for the most part get things to work. If not I have my neighbor, 34, who is my my genius. He tried for hours. Now the message requires that I reconfigure my router! In a word not!

    Nice addition to a Sonos Soundbar and good paired with another One.

    This small-ish speaker puts out rather good sound. Not high-fidelity grade or Cambridge Audio bluetooth. But it's the Sonos integrated system that is the kicker. They are always on. Sonos app gives you access to different streaming services. And if you have multiple ones in the house (which is part of their selling point) you can turn different ones on/off as desired with your phone. I've gotten pretty close to high-fidelity by pointing two of these Ones at each other. The Sound Bar sounds a bit tinny. It really needs a sub-woofer. But a One equalized for low-end in a small/medium size room it is a surprisingly good combo.

    Excellent Sound. Not as well integrated into Google.

    Sound quality is excellent. Clarity is great with well balanced bass, tight and never over powering. However it does not support free google play music or youtube music. Cannot group with google speakers of other brands.

    Good sound, can't tell any difference from gen 1

    I recently bought a Sonos one, gen 2, to pair with an older gen 1. Adding it was very easy and they work well together. Stereo is a bit of an improvement but not spectacular. Still, I'd do it again. See no benefit of gen 2 at this point but if there is one later I hope I can gain it with only one gen 2 speaker. At this point I also miss more bass but the subs are way too expensive.
