We have a long set of stairs that was dangerously dark to use. This light has made the trip up or down at night a lot safer. If someone is injured on your property and they can prove neglect you will probably lose the case.

Very satisfied customer
I am very glad that I purchased the 2000 lumen lights instead of the 4000 lumen ones. I installed them directly into the wood eves with exterior deck screws instead of using the metal brackets provided. These are plenty bright. The only complaint I have is that on the walls of my house painted white that the lights are pointing at, they flicker off and on for a few minutes until it gets completely dark outside. It appears that the dawn-to-dusk sensor sees its own reflection of light against the wall and mistaking it for daylight shuts itself off! I am certain that slightly changing the angle that the light hits the house will solve this. I am very glad that I purchased the 2000 lumen lights instead of the 4000 lumen ones. Unknown junction box needed
I was looking for a bright led sensor light, thought this was the one, however, there was no explanation that this product requires a junction box. I’m sure it’s a good choice for people who has/or know how to install a junction box.

strobe cycles on and off at dusk and dawn
This light is bright and works well. My only complaint is it strobe cycles on and off at both dawn and dusk for about 10 minutes.. I suspect this may be caused by where it is installed. Under the eves of my house which are painted white. I suspect it is reflecting the light back to the sensor. I will try blocking or shading the light from the sensor in some way. If that works I plan to purchase 2 more in the future. Otherwise I am satisfied . Update \: I installed a strip of plastic to block the reflected light. Now it works perfect.
