About this product

Product Information

As the heavy metal band that makes Marilyn Manson look like wussies, GWAR have been horrifying audiences with their chainlink costumes, bizarre medieval weaponry, and fake-blood-fueled concerts for two decades. This collection celebrates the shock rockers' 20 years of metal mayhem with four concert films that capture all the tasteless simulated violence normally associated with a GWAR performance: TOUR DE SCUM (1992), RENDEZVOUS WITH RAGNAROK (1997), DAWN OF THE DAY OF THE NIGHT OF THE PENGUIN (1998), and IT'S SLEAZY (2001). See individual titles for further details.

  • A great product for any diehard GWAR fan!

This is a compilation that includes some of GWAR's older movies. For anyone not familiar with them, they are all funny and provide great visuals of the band's past. The movies themselves are not typical full-length films; they combine footage from live shows and music videos with short segments that tell the history of GWAR (the characters and the themes, not the actual human performers). They're B-movie quality, but the props used in the film sequences are all made by the Slave Pit, so it's kinda like watching an extended version of a GWAR concert. While these movies are all great, they are different from Phallus in Wonderland and Skulhedface, which are both more similar to full-length films. It doesn't really matter what order you watch the movies in, because they usually don't go beyond ...

  • Gwar, that's all

Gwar is the best live show you can ever see. These dvd's are evidence. Don't just take my word for it, go experience it yourself.
