The lens is excellent. Autofocus is sharp. No visible damage. Near mint. The seller was professional, and shipped the parcel the day after purchase. I had to pay 121.80€ (about 132$) in cash for customs charges (VAT + taxes), which was unexpected. I will open a file on FedEx. eBay and the seller should have informed me about potential customs fees. I thought eBay Global Package was being used and not FedEx. Happy with the purchase, but disappointed with the final price: 377.31+121.80=499.11€.

    Super sharp

    Getting great results with this lens and my OM-D EM1X. Even with the MC-14 teleconverter (must be in MF mode, though. Auto focus modes just can’t seem to get there at 400mm)!

    Sharp, well made lens

    I previously was using a Panasonic/Leica 100-400mm lens, which I sold to fund purchase of this Olympus lens. Although this lens is slightly larger and heavier than the Panasonic lens, it is a bit sharper wide open at full zoom, and it has a much smoother zoom ring action.

    A must for Olympus sports and wildlife shooters

    This is an amazing lens. It is incredibly stable and you are able to take shots of static subjects with a shutter speed of near 1 second at 400mm. I’m very impressed with it and purchasing it used made it a great value.

    Amazing range

    Yes it is big for m4/3 standards, but quite compact and usable for what it does. With the 12-100 and a 1.4 converter you can cover the equivalent of 24-1120mm, all of them with amazing image stabilization. The m4/3 20M resolution is plenty for anybody (it would have been sci-di until recently).
