    The Lost World DVDE

    I bought the DVD because I had purchased the book of the same title by Conan Doyle and wanted to see how the movie was. You have to remember it is taken from a novel written in about 1912, I think, so their perception of dinosaurs and the ancient world were much different than ours today. However I enjoyed the DVD very much. Good entertainment.

    The Lost World DVD (from Doyle's Book, 'The Lost World'

    I thought the book was an excellent book and is among my favorites. However, I am somewhat disappointed in the movie. Too many variations from the book. However, the movie was entertaining.

    Very nice movie!

    If you are a fan of TLW and Doyle, this is a must, specially for the extras! It was produced by A&E and some scenes were used in a documentary produced later on the Mount Roraima - the "real" lost world!
