Great value of a wonderful book in the O'Reilly Series

My husband was thrilled to received this to complete his set. I always look at the GoodWill Stores to find a great selection of books. Our's in Tulsa (the distribution center's retail store) is absolutely the best organized book selection I have seen in Oklahoma or Texas. They must have hired a former librarian to catalog their books. Very professional.

  • Good read for the younger generation

I have read the adult version and was pleased to see this item geared towards our young readers. My grandson is an avid reader and when I can provide factual history for him to read that is a real plus.

  • Wonderful book

All of Reilly's books are excellent. Well researched and well written. I'm more inclined to believe that the NY Times writer is the main architect of O'Reilly's books. They are very well written and keep you glued to the facts.

  • For WW2 students of history

A history of events starting with Hitler's rise to power in pre WW2 Germany to the end of the war. Well written although not as thorough as previous "The Killing Of" books by O' Reilly. Also much shorter. I read and finished the book in a day and a half as I'm aware of many of the subjects covered in the book. Depressing and gruesome photos of Holocaust victims and camps. Makes one wonder how it could have gone on for so long. If one is interested in a chronological listing of WW2 events then this will be a good read. From start to the finish in Adolf's bunker in Berlin.
