Although it took 2 attempts to finally get the line cutter, the seller had nothing to do with the issues in getting the item. In both cases, USPS is to blame. The first attempt after 7 days made it to the state in which I live and got lost or stolen, who knows. The USPS site have never updated, it still says Moving Through Network, In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late. I notified the seller, was refunded so I ordered a 2nd one. Very loud and piercing! A bit smaller than the Storm whistle of the same manufacturer, but still does the job with aplomb. Great for purse, backpack, or glove box!

While this whistle is very loud I would recommend the SOL 'Slim Rescue Howler' over it. I do this because the SOL is just as loud and very slim, you can easily keep it in your pocket daily, without it interfering with all your other stuff, its just there if you need it. The Wind Storm is a good whistle, and very loud, but also bulkier and would break more easily due to its split construction, also doesn't fit in your daily wear pocket due to size.While this whistle is very loud I would recommend the SOL 'Slim Rescue Howler' over it. It works good, but a little bulky, also bought the ACME Tornado 636m, both performance and price are similar, both loud and take no effort to use, this can work if you in water surface (not under water), ACME will not work if get wet, so I put this on the life jacket, and use ACME on ground when fishing.
