    Thrash during the late eighties

    I bought this CD to update my collection(mainly of cassettes) of metal music of that era (the eighties).For what it is the Cd was a bit pricy let me tell you. The lyrics are a bit cliche (monsters, satan and the like) but the band delivers. It also features a cover from a Black Sabbath song called hand of doom. The rework of the tune does not betray its original but rather adds more groove to it which is good. All in all an interesting debut from the band Reverend(fronted by former metal church vocalist david Wayne(R.I.P.)They are still around. Nice Cd from a nice band.

    I love this album and will never sell it!!!

    This cd is Deep Rooted old Metal Church to the Core. I believe it was the second album released by Reverend. David Wayne left Metal Church after the Dark and Reverend was born. This album is Speed Metal and Wayne's voice is absolutely incredible. I would recommend this album to any Metal church fan wanting to capture some of Wayne's solo work. The best sound recently released is Wayne's Metal Church which is a must for all Metal Church/Heavy Metal fans.

    Great music and great vocals of the late David Wayne, a must for metalheds!

    My brother, the late David Wayne, was the lead singer of this group, and it is hard to find his music in music stores. E-bay has made it incredibly easy to find his music with Reverend and Metal Church, and other memoribilla of him. Great cd! Awesome E-bay!

    Reverend and David Wayne - Underrated greats of yesteryear

    This is a classic heavy metal CD. The band is led by former Metal Church frontman, the late David Wayne. He's on the top of his game here and the supporting cast are no slouches. The bass player's tone is particularly captivating. A very underrated CD.
