From a script by Robb and Mark Cullen, the story centers around police detectives Jimmy (Willis), a no-B.S. divorced dad, and Paul (Morgan), a crazy-talking loose cannon. Despite nine years as partners, the two lawmen can still sometimes seem like polar opposites -- especially when Paul's unpredictable antics get them suspended without pay. Already strapped for cash and trying to pay for his daughter's wedding, Jimmy decides to sell a rare baseball card that's worth tens of thousands. Unfortunately, when the collector's shop is robbed and the card vanishes with the crook, Paul and Jimmy end up going rogue, tracking down the card and the drug ring behind its theft, all on their own time, and without any backup -- except for each other.

Good for a few good laughs
Bruce Willis (Jimmy) and Tracy Morgan (Paul) are two cops who have been teamed up as partners for nine years. Jimmy is a straight, no non-sense police detective who takes his job seriously. Paul never shuts up, cracks jokes about everything and never takes his job seriously. These two are about the most unlikely partners to ever hit the streets. Paul finally goes to far and both of them get suspended. When a very valuable card, owned by Jimmy is stolen the two decide to go out on their own and find it, even though they are suspended. This movie was funny at times and no so funny at others. Very poor customer service. Did not response quickly to emails & had to file claim as the seller wouldn't listen to me that replacement wouldn't arrive before the last date that I could file a claim so had to file a claim until the replacement arrived as this seller had no consider for the buyer!! I will not use this seller again & other ebay buyers should also beware of this seller. Which in one of the emails they sent me that they were not going to do business to much long on ebay which explains their poor customer service as they do not care. I wanted to buy to the item but I feel it is foolish to buy full price for the exact same item that I can get on ebay for sometimes half the price of retail.Very poor customer service. Funnier Than I Thought It Would Be!
I wouldn't call myself a huge Kevin Smith fan but I thought this was more funny than most of his recent releases. It was nice to see Bruce Willis in a funny role rather than his typical tough guy and over the top action scenes. It was a nice change of pace to have two actors that you wouldn't expect to be paired up. Tracy Morgan is funny, as he usually is, and steals most of the scenes. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good laugh. I was also very happy that there were many more scenes that were much funnier than what was shown in the previews. The typical movies out today show you all of the funny scenes before you even sit down to actually watch the film.
