    JVC Double-din Head Unit

    Great head unit! Got this for my 2000 4Runner and it looks awesome! The volume knob and buttons are large and easy to use. As someone else put it this deck "doesn't look cheesy". It matches factory styling pretty well, especially using the adjustable colors. Overall I'm glad I went with JVC (my second now), they have powerful amps and function simply and reliably. USB works great when set to "ipod control". You can still skip fwd/back and pause your ipod (push volume knob) from the receiver. If you don't need a fancy screen and features (most you can add with adapters) get this head unit. Mine was a steal at $130 refurbished!

    Excellent Radio

    This is a great radio. I purchased it to replace the navigation system I had in my car after breaking it. I didn't want another touch screen system. This JVC radio is everything I want. Love that I can change the color to my fav color, purple. Very easy to use after playing around with it for a few minutes. I advise reading the manuel to really get to know the device. I love everything about it.

    Very good product for the price.

    I had customized my dash in my 1995 Dodge pk and needed a double din stereo. Liked the looks, two rca outputs, and the large display. The first time setting it was a little tricky but read the instruction book again. Simple after doing it a few times. I had purchased another double din that was imported and it didn't have the features plus after two months it died. So far very satisfied. Was able to hook two amps and got the sound I wanted. This JVC is far above others because of the features.

    This unit does exactly what I want, at the price i want.

    I decided to replace my factory head unit because I wanted head unit that would truly make my music mobile. My factory unit had no direct way to listen to my iPhone. The buttons were wearing out and it was showing it's age. This truly wonderful stereo refreshes the interior of my car. I like the options for customization. I also get more out my speakers with this unit. Installation was easy and straight-forward. I didn't even need a dash kit. This unit is much more user friendly than some of the other units i tested, which is something you want when you are driving.
