    Multi Color Tone

    The US Mints used canvas bags to store these Morgan's. The canvas used for these bags contain sulfur and other chemicals. Due to long time storage, any of the coins that were in immediate contact with the canvas usually toned to beautiful multi colors. Some of the coins only had partial contact with the canvas due to overlapping or stacking of the coins in the bag. This is a great example showing partial contact creating a beautiful crescent tone. Any of these multi color coins can bring a premium.
