James learns the importance of helping others in "James Goes Too Far, and Emily gets taught a similar lesson in "Emily's Adventure" when she finds herself in need of a hand. Everything’s great in season 8!
This 2004 dvd contains 7 season 8 stories. And let me be clear to everybody: this season was not only the first to be made by HiT entertainment themselves, but it is the only season to be made by HiT in the pre-season 12 model era where Sharon Miller isn’t part of the production team. Which is a really good sign to be honest. This is a must have for kids of All ages, and even though today’s kids care about the CGI episodes (Both Sharon Miller & Andrew Brenner), it’ll still be fun and entertaining to watch again and again.This 2004 dvd contains 7 season 8 stories. This disc is classic Thomas & Friends shows. My 2 1/2 year old son watches it over and over. The dvd starts quickly and offers other features.

I didn't think I would say it but the earlier Thomas is narrated soooooooooooo much better when Ringo Starr did it! The newer versions can't keep the voices straight and so on...but my son still loves it!
