    Very good, not very best

    What "very best" of the Animals doesn't contain "House of the Rising Sun"? Truth be told the early Animals & Eric Burdon's Animals are different bands. One was blues the later was psychedelic rock; there is no complete collection because of licensing, so you've gotta find 2 "best of" CDs

    Animals 60's phsycodelic era.

    Absolutely awesome collection of Eric Burdon and the Animals mid - late sixties San Francisco infused phsycodelic era music. Aside from historic original material, you get some great cover tunes, such as Ring off fire, I put a spell on you, and a few others. This collection really gives off the mood and vibe of Northern California in the 60's at least as I remember it.
