The Pure Digital Tempus-1 DAB Radio is a digital audio broadcast radio capable of receiving high-quality digital radio signals. This Pure Digital Tempus-1 has an amplifier that produces 3.4-watts RMS power, which drives the 3-inch full-range speaker inside this digital audio broadcast radio. A white-on-blue LCD display allows for a clear view of the tuned station or the current time, even at night. The Pure Digital Tempus-1 doubles as an alarm clock that allows a user to set a sleep timer that turns the radio off after a set amount of time, and then turns it back on when it is time to wake up. What’s more, users can fall asleep listening to one station and set this Pure Digital Tempus-1 to wake them to a completely different station. If users choose to listen to the Pure DAB radio through headphones or a larger stereo system, they can do so using this digital audio broadcast radio’s 3.5 mm audio output jack or optical S/PDIF output. A user can also connect a recording device to this Pure DAB radio and set a recording timer to only record a certain song or radio show to the connected recorder. Only measuring 8.3 x 6.9 x 4.3 inches, this digital audio broadcast radio fits nicely on a night stand or dresser. With all of its features and compact size, this Pure Digital Tempus-1 can meet anyone’s DAB-listening needs.

    Impressive sound quality and range of outputs, display lets it down a bit.

    This is one of the best pure products for it's sound quality and range of outputs, if it had the same display that the Mio has then it would have been perfect. Mine had a problem with the backlight that kept going on and off, didn't affect anything other than the ability to see the display in poor light, luckily having the knowhow I managed to repair this and it is still going to this day. Much prefer this over the Mio range for sound and build quality.

    Neat retro styling, good finish, nice sound

    This is a little jewel of a radio, just right for a guest bedroom with a mains socket.. When you switch it on at the mains, it quickly resets the time and then tunes in to the station that you were last listening to. Particularly nice is the " sleep" button where you can choose between 15/30/45 mins before it switches off, and the time that is illuminated if you tap the handle in the night. The sound seems excellent, although as with all DAB radios the reception can be odd at times. I have no idea how this product compares with others - I buy a radio only about once every 20 years, and bought it on its style

    Well worth buying!

    This had good reviews and I already owned a pure pocket dab radio!This radio has a brilliant sound and easy to use features! Would buy from Pure again!

    Ver good radio, although too many bells and whistles for my liking!

    This is my third PURE radio and it was bought because one of the others lost the digital display and the manufacturers do not take on repairs but offer a discount on a new one. I am quite happy with the radio's performance although I have no experience of any other Company's DAB radios.
