Another classic from the timeless mind of Mel Brooks!
From the mind of Mel Brooks, ANOTHER hilarious classic, no question about it! What's NOT to love about it? Cast is great, story is well written and the plot was engaging for sure! If you want a ton of laughs? Check out ANY Mel Brooks movie and I can assure you that you'll get them and this movie gives you plenty of them! :-)

Classic Mel Brooks, only less edge, and more heart!
I ordered this DVD because it was a favorite movie of mine when I was a college student years ago. I wanted to own it so my kids could see it. A clever, and very funny, plot line tastefully parodies a very sad, serious period of history. An all-star cast, which includes Brooks' longtime wife, Anne Bancroft, makes this one a "Do Not Miss!" And it is appropriate for all ages. You'll love it!I ordered this DVD because it was a favorite movie of mine when I was a college student years ago. I wanted to own it so my kids could see it. Brooks Delivers
Great film, Brooks at his finest. Under-rated but a great portrayal of Brooks pretending to be Hitler ("Heil Myself!"). Charles Durning is a fantastic SS officer and the rest of the cast as well. Normally re-makes aren't up to par, but this one is as good as the Jack Benny/Carole Lombard original. It holds true to the original but manages the typical Brooks humor. This is a great example of what movies should be like entertaining!
Mel Brooks was amazing. The performances by Ann Bancroft and Charles Durning were magnificent. The writing, acting and its direction were very good. This show was funny and highly entertaining.
