The filament guide is not perfect but is still much better than any others I've tried. As of this review I have transferred 2 complete spools and the wind is good. If I use my hand for a little resistance on the donor spool it helps the wind a bit more. Good seller. Good value I'd buy again. Pic included shows 1st spool transferred.

Idk what tolerance was used to get the gaps where the gears interlock but it disconnects and it stops spinning. I have to manually fix it several times. I did get my spools to rewind.

However, I ended up having to put a little grease on the receiving axel because it kept binding during the transfer. You could see where the axel was beginning to melt. The grease helped tremendously. Also the gadget that moves the filament back and forth looks super flimsy and I kept expecting it to jump a tooth while it was operating.

Had a few issue with the unit ... damaged in transport, missing and wrong parts which was resolve in a timely matter. The seller is very responsive and stand behind his product.
