        It wasn't described as open box, but looked to be in open box condition. The inside the box support material was almost shreds. It arrived with one leg broken, possibly because the inside the box support material being almost non existent. The pump did work fine, just need to modify the broken leg. The seller offered a 1/3 off the purchase price, which made me feel better about the broken leg.
