    cheaper alternative

    This is a solid, analog alternative for the price. I like getting the Jerry Garcia sound. Nothing will beat the smoothness of a Mutron or even the old af9 maxons( have that one) but this is good for 60 bucks. The blend knob is useful to "dampen" the effect a bit if you don't want a sharp volume boost when you pick hard. Its for guitar and bass. the b means it is a newer model not "bass". DOD are really not know for awesome, classic effects but do seem to have some fame in the envelope/autowah realm.

    I have been using these on and off for years.

    I somehow misplaced (it was probably stolen) the DOD FX envelope filter I once had. I am getting back into music so this was a good purchase for some good retro and current sounds.

    Junk.. quit working after 2 times.

    Received pedal in the mail and after 2 times the Blend knob and the Sensitivity knobs quit working altogether. Tried new batteries and using directly on my pedal board with 9 volt connection and still nothing....
