Taxes are completed and money is on the way!
I have used TurboTax for nearly twenty years now and have had no problems. My tax forms are not entirely easy because I own a small business but have had no dificulty doing my own taxes with this fine product.

Good and frustrating.
FEDERAL Easy to use directions and easy to fill out without being an accountant is the biggest PLUS. BUT... it would not save to my computer hard drive (Win 10 Home) so I had t use a flash drive. And program made small adding errors $1 - $2. Was worried that it would not let me take Standard Federal deductions and itemize for State.. but that worked fine. STATE State download went smoothly. I have tax exempt interest. The program makes it harder than it needs to be to adjust the interest for bond premium. As far as I can tell, it does not matter for tax purposes but it is confusing. Interest that is taxable for Federal but Exempt for California has to be entered through the adjustments line on the State return. PRIOR YEAR RETURNS It would not load prior year returns so that information had to be entered by hand. That problem arose when I had a virus attack and had to re initialize the hard drive on a WIN 10 PC. Actually the returns opened but were blank.

Product was as expected, except they don't say how to install. I thought it was defective and was trying to buy another copy, until someone told me to just double-click anywhere. It did the job otherwise, as usual.

I was Really thinking I was crazy to try my own Taxes.
My CPA passed away this year. So I decided to do it myself. I have no acct background. And I have over 20 K1. I'm not finished but it been easy to follow so far. It will take me a while because it took my CPA 3.5 hrs. with all of my tax info from the prior year in his computer.
