About this product

Product Information

Have fun challenging friends and family playing a puzzling game of critical thinking and logic with the Dr. Mario puzzle game for Nintendo Entertainment Systems. Dr. Mario NES Nintendo video game offers one-player and two-player game modes allowing for competition between gamers. Assume the role of doctor Mario who lines up pills to destroy viruses, similar to the Tetris. Manipulate the two-colored medical pills as they fall into a medicine bottle that represents the playing field. When four or more matching colors are arranged vertically or horizontally they are cleared. Keep the virus from spreading or else the pills will crowd the bottle and the game is over. Complete each level by ensuring the bottle does not fill up and enhancing your Dr., Mario skills along the way.

    Dr. Mario for the NES

Dr. Mario is a great classic. My family love the sounds on it and we get very competitive with each other. Simple game play, so it is easy for young kids to learn. Even with the very simple game play older people will have fun if they play against others. Personally I don't play the single player game but love to challenge other people. This game is way better against someone. Although the single player can be challenging, it doesn't hold my attention as long as competing against other people. Graphics are not very good but they don't need to be on a game like this. Very good go to game to have on hand and entertain people.

    Love the game!

The game did not play at first I had to blow it out. The graphics are a bit fuzzy but I can still see enough to play. For the quality, I would expect a lower price. Thanks I have been looking for this game awhile.

  • Keeps You On Your Toes!

Love this game, it is a brain user that keeps you on your toes when you get into the upper levels on high speed! Your hands and eyes have to be quick to place the pills Dr. Mario tosses, one wrong move could be all she wrote. LOL! It is a great game! Love the acts they show after you complete the rounds. On level 20 high when you win it a alien ship comes down and beams up the viruses! This game is sort of based on Tetris! but more fun. Great for kids and adults alike.

  • Love Dr. Mario! Highly Adictive!

If you like Tetris, YOU’LL LOVE Dr. Mario! It is a game where you drop pills of varying colors on top of “viruses” of the same varying colors, to clear the board and advance. I love this game so much! It is played on the original Nintendo NES. And it’s highly addictive and a fun game to play for hours! Buy a copy for yourself and see how awesome it is to play! • Awesome game for the NES!

Came in a little earlier than expected so that's good. Had to clean it up a bit to get it to play, but that's the same for most NES games. Dust cover was an unexpected touch and the game was quite addicting! Will buy from again.
