      Solid equipment

      The towel bar was a little short, making it necessary to slightly bend the back plate to get the holes lined up, but not a big deal. This stand makes a huge difference when using the 552’s. Solid, sturdy, and the complainant others had with the straps getting in the way of grabbing the weights off the rack were very overblown; it is very easy to get them off the rack without scraping or hitting knuckles.

      Great stand with one easily correctable, minor issue.

      Provides an ergonomic stand for the SelecTech dumbbell systems. The stand seems very sturdy and assembles easily. As with most 'assemble-it-yourself' items, the instructions could be improved. I suggest not fully tightening the fasteners of the frame until you have all frame components loosely assembled and on a flat, level surface. Then, loosely attach the plates that hold the dumbbells and the media rack to the assembled frame. Tighten the fasteners after all components are assembled and before you place the dumbbells on it. I will be getting different straps to hold the dumbbell cradles as the buckle for the included straps assembles directly beneath the dumbbell handles and is a bit of a nuisance when you pick up and replace the dumbbells.

      Solid product, but can be improved.

      Does what it's designed to do: holds the dumbbells at a comfortable height, looks good, is very sturdy, and assembled easily - all of the parts fit well, and including a few extra fasteners is a nice touch. Would have given 5 stars, except the BD552 trays are held in place by straps with plastic side-release buckles that hit your knuckles when removing & replacing the dumbbells in their trays. I plan to drill some new holes and screw the trays into place to eliminate the buckles, but that will likely void the warranty.The holes for this should already be present, it would cost very little to add them.
