      This Onkyo Stereo Receiver is what I'm looking for . It has the features I want in a stereo receiver .It features a full bass and treble controls and a tone switch and over all it has a full robust sound using my Sony SS-F7000 4 way tower speakers along with my Audio Quest Slate Series speaker cables. With my speakers I don't need a subwoofer . I really love the push in , pull out speaker terminals , 2 outlets in back of the receiver . The front display is nice and you can custom name your own AM/FM presets , up to 8 characters it is kind of a small size receiver but it is packed with features and power and it is heavy .100watts of power , stand by power , I don't need to spend thousands of dollars to get a receiver with great sound and features plus this receiver is 10 years old and the ...

      Onkyo quality speaks for itself

      I was looking for an older receiver that would have the capability of playing my older components such as my cassette tape player , turntable and CD player and this Onkyo receiver was exactly what I needed. For an older machine this receiver packs quite a lot of great sound quality and power . I mean I haven’t raised the volume up more than one quarter of the way up and it fills the room up very nicely! Very Satisfied !

      Onkyo power for the two channel enthusiast.

      1st rate power amplifier with ample push for even low efficiency speakers, great build quality. You will need the remote control so if it is not included find one. My only negative is the tuner section which is poor. I added a separate tuner to my rig because I still enjoy FM.

      What I was looking for, great value

      I spent a considerable amount of time time researching, looking for a 'vintage' receiver for 2 channel music. And this does not disappoint! Sound is clear and full, pairing well with my old Boston Accounstics CR 85 bookshelf speakers. Great condition as well.

      One of the best stereo receivers ever made!!!

      This receiver is a beast!!! It has 100x2 watts and can power A+B channel at an 8ohm load on the channels. Great rich sound. Classic Onkyo.
