The issue was resolved with a partial refund for repair costs and for a new battery. Would be nice to avoid the frustration altogether, but it happens. The seller took good care with packaging and the shipping was immediate. It wasn't as described (due to the problems mentioned) , but with the partial refund, the final price was a of good value. Seller was positive towards a solution that works for both parties.
