      Solvent base polish

      This polish works very well. That being said, be aware that once you've cleaned an item, it will require washing with lots hot soapy water to remove the polish. Not a problem when cleaning flatware or polishing serving pieces or a Tea set. Problematic if cleaning Jewelry or small decor items. I had to use a soft nail brush to remove the polish from the twisted bezel of a necklace, it was very difficult to get the polish to wash away. The Silver dresser set shines beautifully but getting the polish out of the deep Repousse was time consuming and irritating. Just be aware of how the stuff behaves. As I initially stated, it puts a beautiful high gloss finish on silver surfaces.

      MAAS shines bright!

      MAAS metal polish works better than anything else I have ever used. It doesn't scratch, it shines really well, and it leaves a protective coating that helps prolong the shine. MAAS is very easy to use and has no harsh smell. I use it frequently, especially on vintage and antique items.

      on plastics it works great, metals just OK

      I bought this product for brass & copper but it was only OK for those metals. Tried it on plastics & it worked great. Requires an excessive amount of "elbow grease" for the final phase of polishing on metals. A very small amount goes a long way.

      MAAS Metal Polish

      I collect 100 y/o and older antique cars that have LOTS of brass. Have tried most of the metal polishes on the market, and nothing is easier or better than MAAS. Wife even uses it for metal fixtures, bathroom faucets at home. Easy and great results!
