    New is new, I got what was in the photo nothing else, sent two questions about the item but never received any response, poor communication, and better packaging would be a plus, the item was just put in a box and shipped, no bubble wrap, peanuts, paper packing to keep it from moving around and tight in the box. There was two places in the box where it had come through but did not have any part damaged. Thanks for the deal on the part through all of this, I received the part that I wanted.

    Excellent product

    I installed the line tap with the shim for 1/2" tubing. Attached my ac recharge hose and opened the valve. This item worked perfectly and no leaks. My old window air conditioner now has new life and plenty of cold air. Very happy that I made the purchase.

    High quality recharging Valve

    This product worked perfectly to recharge my compressor on my Samsung Refrigerator, which of course quit just days after warranty.     Allows you to add refrigerant to an appliance

    Most appliances don't have ports to add refrigerant. So, if there is a leak, you are pretty much going to need one of these. I installed it on a small deep freeze. It was easy to install and doesn't leak. The connection is the standard type likie used on old r-12 or a home ac unit. You can use it as is or use an adapter if you are needing 134a and just have a car style gauge set or one of the diy cans.

    Right Price, Great of any Do It Yourself'er (DIY)

    Most people never heard about this means to inexpensively add a Refill Valve to Refill with Freon a Refrigerator, Air Conditioner, Freezers, etc. as most Manufacturers did not provide an Inexpensive Service Port. The Manufacturers KNOW that any Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Freezers, etc. will over time Leak Freon; and that by Design without enough Freon, the Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Freezers, etc. they make Must Fail due to not enough Freon. Without the ability to add a Service Port like this SUPCO BPV31 Bullet Piercing Valve, 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" Tubing from Patriot Supply even Professional Refrigerator, Air Conditioning, Freezer Repair Service People would have problems and would have to resort to welding, soldering, on Service Ports after completely capturing the Freon of a ...

    Fixed portable AC unit.

    I always thought you would have to braze on a new fill value to a window air conditioner or refrigerator to fill the refrigerant. That is not something the normal homeowner can do easily. I then found out about this piercing valve. This worked great to fill a portable AC unit that I have. Just make sure you purchase the correct valve for your application. This valve can be used on the low side of a R410A system, not on the high side.
