        Didn't work with my XBOX one elite, However it worked with my Xbox one S

        The only reason I believe it didn't work with my elite Xbox is because it didn't have enough power to run the hard drive even when I used the blue USB cable the Xbox elite didn't push enough power to support the Hard drive to work. However when I plug the system up to my Xbox one S using the USB cable provided the XBOX one S had enough power and now it works flawlessly. I believe to get this to work with the Xbox one elite I will have to purchase an adapter to this enclosure to get enough power to the hard drive..

        Looks nice but kills hard drives faster than Hannibal Lector eats a liver with farver beans....

        While it does look nice, and attaches to the x-box with a bit of finagling, my unit burned out the existing 1tb external drive that I had been using. I figured it could have just been a bad drive as it was 2 years old. I bought a new 2tb Seagate drive, which worked for about 2 hours, then died. Neither drive was salvageable. Could have been a defective enclosure, or just a bad design, but I won't risk another drive.

        Works, Just not as expected.

        Will not work attached to side of XBOX , conveniently came with a USB extension cable, if you plug it into the back ports it works fine. Better off getting a different USB external enclosure you can hide easier. ill keep it because i dont care about aesthetics as much.

        I mainly use it for the extra USB plug-ins for the controller but every time I use it I have to keep unplugging and plugging the controllers in because they keep disconnecting while playing the game. It looks nice sand easy to put on but doesn’t work that well.

        waste of money

        I had to use the cable that came with the enclosure. My xbox would recognize the sata hard drive without it.
