      Lightweight modem with great features.

      This modem works flawlessly with RCN Cable. I connected it to my wireless router and called the cable company to activate it and has been working great since. There is no drop in internet connection at all. Also I am saving money on monthly modem rental by owning my own modem. I can now stream to all my TVs and computers without any lag or problem.

      Fast, easy to set up, and it won't be obsolete in a year

      Definitely far faster than my old modem, and it won't be automatically obsolete when the DOCSIS 3.1 becomes the standard. The increase in speed is probably due to the 32 x 8 which is definitely needed, with all of the different devices competing for the internet in my home (my old one was 8 x 2, if I recall correctly). Works seamlessly with Spectrum internet.

      Fast and Easy

      Setting this up was pretty easy. I downloaded the Netgear instructions for setting this modem up from their site. As I set it up the process clicked just like clockwork. This modem was apparently de-registered which made this easy when I registered with my ISP. I connected this to my Netgear router and all works as it should. FOLLOWUP: Just a follow-up after several months of trying different things with my system, the modem is awesome quality and works well. No quibble for the kibble I paid for it. Well worth it!

      Like new

      I was hoping for better performance from an updated modem, but, alas, it seems about the same. Nonetheless, this was easy to set-up, done in a few minutes. It works like new. It replaces a Netgear CM400 which was also steady and reliable, but had outdated specs. Very happy with this at a value price.
