        Best of the disaster movies!

        Love this movie, seen it at the theater in my teens, countless times on TV, have recorded it many many times, but always lose it to a hard drive failure, so I finally bought it on blue ray. Just love George Segal's character roughen it out after he stopped smoking, just a good ol smart ass kinda guy, with many cameos of up and coming actors. Was great to see Charley Tuna's intro for the talented music group SPARKS ha ha. Best of all, being it was filmed in mid 70's, ditto jeans everywhere at the amusement parks, Ow Ya!

        SENSURROUND!!!

        This movie is engaging, although a bit violent. But its major claim to fame is that it is one of only four movies ever filmed in Sensurround, with enhanced bass to enrich the viewing experience, by adding the sensation of movement. But, a sound system with a lot of low bass power is required to experience the full effect of Sensurround. The other three Sensurround movies are: 'Earthquake' (the first one), 'Midway', and 'Battlestar Galactica'. Sensurround was dropped due to its terrifically high expense for theater owners.
