Does not reach infinity as claimed, EOS-NEX ball socket jams, A LOT.
Does not reach infinity as claimed. Camera can't reach infinity, with several Canon EF- / EOS-mount lenses. When I switch to either a normal EOS-NEX adapter I can reach infinity. Therefore this adapter is only suitable for macro work. For reference, a home-brew EOS-NEX macro adapter designed *by me* can both exceed infinity & extend to macro (losing infinity), & I can replicate the problem with this adapter, so it's most definitely suffering from macro extension. That said, it's still a very fidgety product. The EOS-NEX copy rec'd by me **jams** A LOT, unless great care is taken to avoid exceeding 8 degrees of tilt. Marginally useful, even for macro work. Simply, the adapter's ball socket jams, A LOT. Also for reference, another shipper inadvertently shipped to me a Nikon-NEX adapter, ... Does not reach infinity as claimed.
