So I purchased this item but the gap for the lift is actually not 3" it's more like 2 & 1/4 " or less. That's the only thing about this product. Otherwise it works great.

This is a very common misconception and question we get. The way this works is once the spacer is installed, the angle of the lower control arm will steepen, and this will allow you to achieve the full amount of lift height as advertised.
