    Spend the Extra $20 on a NEW Latch to Save Aggravation

    The latching mechanism worked good and didn’t “buzz” like the old, but the “Trunk Ajar” indicator portion was problematic, leaving the indicator lit and the dome light on while trying to drive at night. Ended up having to pull apart the old latch to figure out which wire needed cut to bypass the faulty micro switch in this product.
