    Looks like it will make a good hair light, but is thin nylon material

    Looks like it will make a good hair light, could be used on an outside or remote shoot if you were careful with it, but it doesn’t look very tough, thin nylon material makes it light weight though. Bought a cheap grid for it that seems more durably made than the umbrella to make it a complete package. Time will tell how it holds up, I can’t really complain, because the cost was so low, it could easily be replaced and the honey comb grid would just transfer over to the new umbrella/reflector.

    The Frame is Nylon

    I purchased a lesser quality one like this that was made of the traditional metal frame that bent and broke easily. Not this one. It is made of nylon plastic which will flex more easily rather than bend and breaking. It puts out beautiful soft light.
