    the real deal

    Rory Miller is one of the only martial art "authorities" that tells it like it is. his style is honest and refreshing, and based on real experience. his books are real eye-openers. he also refers you to others that are great helps, too. can't do better. besides, he's Irish.

    This is required reading for me and while I found some of the topics to be written for men and/or people in the law enforcement/military fields, the overall information that was provided is applicable to one's daily life - especially currently. It was informative and the writing was such that it was not too complex nor the ideas too technical for a non-professional in those fields.
