Swiss Army Sharpening tool
I have carried folding and fixed blade knives all of my life and keeping them sharp for over 50 years now. I began using the Victorinox Pocket Knife Sharpener about 5 or 6 years ago and I am sold on this sharpener. It puts a PERFECT Angle cutting edge on the blade and the ceramic stick finishes the job to a surgery capable shaving sharpness. It is also a great value at under $15. I keep ALL my knives sharp with this sharpener. I am not sure how difficult it would be to sharpen a neglected blade that has been left without an edge, but for a sharp knife that you use heavily and you need to put that shaving edge on it again, this tool excels at keeping the edge. It is quick to use, it is weather resistant, wont rust and it works wet or dry. If your a “Knife” type of guy you will appreciate ... Simply the best portable you can get. With this there is no reason to ever have a dull knife with you. This fits right in my “Go Bag” and no more space than a pen would take up. Quick touch up, or sitting by the campfire after dinner, this will bring that edge back, guaranteed. Well built, snap fits, and unique design, only Swiss Engineers could come up with. For the money it is just the best. I just bought four more for gifts, for your friends who carry and value their blades. Works on Damascus, stainless and D-2, it does it all. Compact, easy to use and sharpened my knives!
Saw this on one of "Simon and Martina" youTube videos. A trip to Japan is in the works and this sharpener fits the bill. Small and compact, tried it on several of my knives here at home and find it real easy to use and made my knives very sharp.

It works. I've sharpened a 20+ year old knife easily and a horribly dull Rambler I bought as a second. The main pro of this unique design is its portable, so you have a good enough sharpening stone, that you can use in seconds, and the easier it is to use, the more you'll likely use it, compared to getting a traditional brick shaped whetstone.

Great field sharpener
This is a great packable sharpener. I blunted one of my inexpensive knives and had it back to paper slicing sharp in about 2 minutes. I also have a Falkniven CC4 and this thing holds it's own with that one.
