    Puts the "Dark" in Dark Comedy

    Finding "The One" in random encounter, our hero tries to locate her again after accidentally getting word nuclear war is about to erupt. Wish there was a widescreen version.

    This movie is a must have for all you B Movie Holocaust fans out there. Low budget film made in 1988, it is one of those post cold war Nuclear Strike 'what if's'. Set in L.A a man must race against time to save the girl of his dreams before the inevitable beginning of WWIII. The catch, he only has one hour. Very suspenseful thriller starring Anthony Edwards (Revenge of the Nerds) and Mare Winningham (Wyatt Earp), cameos by Brian Thompson, Kurt Fuller, and others. Rated R

    Best Sci Fi film of the 1980's!

    Simply awesome... One of the best film I have ever seen in the Sci Fi genre. You MUST see why, before this film got made, it was the talk of Hollywood for months, just on the strength of the scipt alone. EVERYONE wanted to be attached to this. In the end, it stands up better then so many others like it. AND... Soundtrack by TANGERINE DREAM!! Simply a marvelous film, start to finish.

    Riveting, chilling and very well acted! Hands down excellent every time :-)

    This movie is as good as it gets for delivering on the promise of suspense, drama and just being all around flippin cool to watch! This is definitely an oldie but a goodie! Don't make the mistake by not watching this classic. This movie delivers a hard punch to the psyche every time and again. Get it today, watch it, and find yourself thinking, oh man what would I do in this situation! Fun stuff!

    Sci-Fi must

    No decent sci-fi collection would be without this title. Thanks for a dvd copy as the vhs had it. This is one of those stories that I don't become tired of and even jerks at your heart, as you get pulled in. Tangerine Dream scores the futuristic music as they have in other movies plus a few older stars too.
