About this product

Product Information

Earning the type of divisive emotional responses normally reserved for those on the far right or the far left of the political spectrum, writer Tucker Max celebrated his debauchery-driven lifestyle in the memoir I HOPE THEY SERVE BEER IN HELL. Now Max earns credit as both co-screenwriter and producer of the film adaptation with this comedy from NIAGARA, NIAGARA director Bob Gosse. In the film, Tucker (GILMORE GIRLS’ Matt Czuchry) behaves very badly at his friend’s bachelor party, getting his invite to the nuptials revoked. Can he renounce his (not-so) inner selfish jerk in time to recapture his invitation? I HOPE THEY SERVE BEER IN HELL also stars Geoff Stults, Jesse Bradford, and Traci Lords.

    Improbable fun

These guys are not found in any bar to which I've gone and their tolerance of each other's foibles is saintly. Good eye candy throughout. Nice production values. Even secondary characters were well cast. Good intro to "The Good Wife" male character. ( Nice butt Matt ). Storyline easy to follow. Denouement a tad unbeliveable, Good segues.

  • DVD for you and your buddies to watch.

Based on a true story, but not good. funny, but not realistic. strictly for adult males, and maybe some females. This is a title for people, ahem, i mean "men" who get drunk every weekend. Particular frat crowds are interested in films like these. A B list director and C list actors. Could have been executed better if more time was taken into making this film. There are deleted scenes and commentary. B+ for the extra scenes/footage. 4/10, only 4.8 out of 10 on imdb. This movie didn't make much in the box office, straight to DVD, so its not anything big. RATED R, strong language/nudity. NOT FOR KIDS. PLOT: Tucker decides to take an impromptu trip to celebrate his friend's bachelor party. He drags his friend into a lie with his fiancée, gets him into trouble and then abandons him in ...

  • I hope they do serve beer in hell

If you have done the most amazing, random things in your life at bars and parties, well then "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" is a movie for you. It was only shown in theatres in certain areas, but is now released on dvd. 'I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell' is about three friends who go out and do some of the most random things. The story is mostly set on when one goes out days before his wedding to another city in what was supposed to be a night out at the bar turns out to finish at the gentlemens club where he eventually gets arrested has to try to save his marraige, while his buddies are out having a good time. This movie is by far the funniest movie that ive seen since the release of the movie "Borat". This I would say is more for someone in there 20s or early 30s. This is definetly ...
