    BH&G Complete Guide to Quilting

This book contains everything you would need for quilting. I have one and use it all the time, so I bought one for a friend. Great price and quick delivery.

  • Great resource for quilting

This is the first book on quilting I've purchased and it has everything I need as a beginning quilter. I have referred to it several times already and I always find the answer to my question . . . e.g. what is a "fat quarter" and how do I stich in the ditch? The photos and instructions are easy to follow and understand. It could use a table of contents, but the book is organized so well it's still pretty easy to find what you are looking for. I imagine more experienced quilters would also enjoy this book as a reference because it seems to be comprehensive. This is one of the best instructional books I have ever bought on any topic and I am very pleased with my purchase.

  • This is one of the best quilting books I've come across

It's in plain English...very easy to read and understand. I also like the fact that there are many pictures, and that they're in color which makes it even nicer to look at. I'm just a beginning quilter, so this book will come in very handy, and I'm sure it will be a great reference guide for all of my future quilting projects.

  • Really great book!

This book is so full of helpful information, it's a must have for any quilter, whether you are just beginner or been quilting for years, this is really a value to have.

  • Great starter guide

While I am an experienced apparel sewer I have not yet travelled into the world of quilting (which I admittedly find somewhat intimidating). This book was the perfect introduction. If you already know a fair amount about fabric and sewing some of the information will seem obvious. However, if you are a beginner sewer as well as quilter you will find this guide extremely informational, very helpful in answering almost all of the questions you may have about not only quilting, but the mechanics of sewing (fabric selection, stitch size and tension, style options). Highly recommend.
