    ARE YOU HUNGRY?

    John Pieper presents a methodical approach in an easy to read fashion that summarizes what mystics have declared for nearly 2000 years: Less is more! The way up is down... Saint Augustine famously said (Confessions) that only when we rest in Him can we truly find our rest and Pieper leads us along that path through fasting and prayer. Hungry souls will be filled after reading this neoclassic.

    The title says it all. This book opens up your mind in ways others has not when it comes to really seeking God to fill that deep desire for him, to know him, to understand his ways and just focus on him. This book will give you a new balanced perspective on fasting and doing it the right way..... I highly recommend it!!

    Great book, very applicable material.

    I very much enjoyed this book. It has much applicable material to our everyday lives even though it was written a few years ago. I enjoyed every chapter and I felt that I could trust its content because of the amount of scripture that the author references.
